We hope that our newly-established web-site will link you more closely with the variety of opportunities for you
to become involved according to your interest in all things within our Anglosphere, locally, regionally, nationally and internationally.
We are out and about in a quiet manner casting that light of friendship and understanding through the use of our English language
in its many forms.
How can you become involved?
Let us review the ways:
VOLUNTEER
1. Meet with a student learning English and help him/her
practice in simple conversation.
2. Join one of our Committees: Hospitality, Shakespeare, English In Action, Scholarship, or Endowment
3.
Offer to host a visiting guest speaker overnight or at luncheon or dinner.
Call our ESU telephone Hotline (561) 533 7490, leave your
name and telephone number and tell us how you feel you can help our mission. Lynnette Lin will relay your message to the appropriate
Director.
A TRIBUTE TO YOUR LOVED ONE.
Donate a tax-deductible teacher scholarship!
At the current exchange rate, this is approximately $5,000
for an award to study at one of the British University Summer Schools: Oxford, Edinburgh or the Globe Theatre.
What pride you will
be able to take in the ability of the teacher having received the ESU scholarship in the name of your loved one to bring to future
generations a wider view of the history and achievements of the English-speaking peoples!
