February 26, 2009. A dinner meeting was held at The Beach Club addressed by Mrs. Louise Nicholson. Mrs. Nicholson is an art historian and world traveler, who has made 165 trips to India. She spoke on "The Legacy of the British in India", and illustrated her most interesting talk with many color slides.

March 6, 2009. A dinner meeting was held at the Colony Hotel, addressed by Ms. Flora Fraser, the daughter of Lady Antonia Fraser, a prolific authoress of historical biography and detective fiction. Ms. Fraser is, of course, a writer in her own right, and her talk, entitled "Pauline Bonaparte: Venus of Empire", illuminated the life and times of an often neglected historical figure.
