The English-Speaking Union World Members Conference 2008
The Conference this year is to be held from September 15 to September 18 in Edinburgh, Scotland.
The Annual General Meeting of The English-Speaking Union of the United States will, however, not now be held in conjuction with
the Conference, but, we understand, in Chicago at a date to be announced.
ESU Scotland plans a photographic exhibition and yearbook, and an essay contest for schoolchildren, and is seeking submissions from
Branches for inclusion.
A block of cabins has been reserved for ESU members who might wish to sail back on the Queen Mary II, sailing from Southampton on
September 21.
